Within is an AI-guided reflective conversation tool. It asks questions, listens, and generates a personal report and ongoing behavior-tracking based on what you share. It is designed to help you reflect and notice patterns in your own thinking.
Within is not a licensed therapist, counselor, or medical provider, and nothing it produces — conversation responses, your report, or Growth Companion suggestions — is therapy, diagnosis, or medical, psychological, or legal advice. It is not a substitute for professional care. If you're in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, please contact a local emergency number or a crisis line — in the US, call or text 988 — rather than relying on this app.
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for the accuracy of what you choose to share. You must be 18 or older to create an account or use Within. You're responsible for the decisions you make based on your own conversations, report, and Growth Companion content — Within helps you reflect, but the decisions are yours.
Use Within for its intended purpose — your own reflection. Don't attempt to abuse, reverse-engineer, or overload the service, and don't use it to generate content intended to harm yourself or others. See our Community Rules for specifics. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, including abusive, harmful, or illegal use, or attempts to manipulate the AI into harmful behavior.
Within — the product, its design, and its underlying technology — belongs to us. What you share in your conversations, and the report and Growth Companion content generated from it, is yours; we don't claim ownership over it or license it out beyond what's needed to run the service and generate it for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Within is in active testing. Features, including pricing, may change, and we'll do our best to communicate meaningful changes to people using the product. The service is currently provided free, with no guarantee of uptime or permanence of stored data, though we take reasonable care with both.
Within is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for decisions you make based on your conversations, report, or Growth Companion content.
